Common Hardware Problems
Power supply
The power supply converts your wall power into voltages between 1.3 V and 12 V.
- Without power, your computer cannot run.
- Your power must also be consistent.
- A bad power supply can act inconsistently or fail totally.
Possible signs of problems include:
- system not booting
- blue screens of death
- random system shutdowns
- slow machine
- clicking sounds
