Power supply

The power supply converts your wall power into voltages between 1.3 V and 12 V.

• Without power, your computer cannot run.
• Your power must also be consistent.
• A bad power supply can act inconsistently or fail totally.

Possible signs of problems include:

• system not booting
• blue screens of death
• random system shutdowns
• slow machine
• clicking sounds
